Again...this really should be a private section discussion, no? I made the same mistake myself, above, but it feels we shouldn’t be having an open editorial back and forth on the open forum...?
Can a god with the power to do so move these to the private forum?

(I'll also say I think I agree with James on this one, but again, more can follow in the private forum)

Farmageddon made its debut on Netflix last Friday. They will also be carrying the new series "Adventures from Mossy Bottom" starting in March:

Essentially season/series 6. Looks great! Not enough to sign up but you know...

We all liked the first film more. Farmageddon was okay, but adding the sci-fi trappings (and the pink and purple colour scheme) didn't really fit the setting so well--- which could have made for a fun film, but ultimately I felt it was way too reminiscent of ET, and not enough of its own thing. Fun, but unmemorable. Also, the design of the aliens was, I thought, quite uninspired.

What I wrote to Rand after our double-bill of both Shauns last week:
Quick take: as good as the first, but where it lacked in surprise and originality it made up for in scale. I think I prefer the first, for the continuous invention, though Farmageddon had more size, even if a lot of the situations seemed to be borrowed from other films (and not just the obvious joke references).

Even more interested to see DreamWorks' Home now, even though my heart kind of sinks whenever I think about watching it...!

Farmageddon just got announced for A Blu-ray release on Oct. 11, 2022 from Shout! Factory.

Special Features and Technical Specs:
How To Draw Shaun
How To Draw Lu-La
Lu-La Slime Time
25 Years Of Shaun The Sheep
Get Crafty With Shaun And Lu-La
Making Farmageddon
The Woolmark Company Presents: Super Natural Wool
Optional English SDH and Spanish subtitles for the main feature

Not sure if I'll pick it up. I skipped the UK disc, as I wasn't really too impressed with the film when I saw it on Netflix.
