Old Shrek 1 trailer. I know it's been a while, but it reminded me of how much I loved the first one. :)

Just in case nobody knew, Shrek The Third is coming out on DVD November 13th and here's the cover art:

I think its awful. :( The red curtain is kind of annoying, it looks too busy (Pinochio and Prince Charming should've been left out) and one of the babies head is cut off, so it could appear on the spine.

Hate it too. :(

Shrek was NOT meant to be seen with red....(unless it's a Christmas thing...j/k :P )

I still love Merlin and the babies, though. :)

Bah,ugly cover,i think they should make it purple (like the marchandise),and too bad there's no Sleeping Beauty (she was my favorite character) and they made Pinocchio and Prince Charming insted .
But i still think it is the best Shrek (okay, maybe it's Shrek 2 but it's better then the first).

Notice how they don't have Arthur on it. ;)

They should have finished it with Shrek 2. This proves that Dreamworks essentially is only interested in the profits, as from what I've heard Shrek the Third is neither funny or entertaining, a shame given how good the first 2 films were. And if the rumours of a further 2 films in the Shrek franchise are true, you can almost guarantee that the quality will leave MUCH to be desired.

I wasn't actually complaining when I said that. ;)

Yeah, you said that already...

I'm happy Arthur's not on the cover either.

Artie's popularity aside, he should have been on the cover, he was a central character in the film after all.

He was the central plot point!

They need more on the cover to not make this look like the first or 2, too. The posters for The Third could have been for any Shrek film.

Blah...
