It's been about seven years of the CGI comedy and there needs to be something different.
What about The Incredibles? That CGI film definitely extended the genre of animation. It was very live action cinema.
And I think as long as Brad Bird is making animated films, we'll continue to see that kind of positive digression.

LOWERED expectations for Chicken Little?
The latest tidbit is that the film's director, Mark Dindal, just quit Disney a few days ago...
That got reported by Jerry Beck (the UN-evil blogger) at CartoonBrew.com
Hmmm... Not looking so good for the chick now.

uh oh.. is this gonna be another Black Cauldron? if so, that means Meet the Robinsons will be their next Mouse Detective and American Dog their next Oliver & Co....
And Rapunzel the next Little Mermaid?
