My thoughts on Chicken Little's lack of successful reviews:
Oh, look! Half price on cabbages.

"the CGI genre"....

Post by harkin » November 2nd, 2005, 4:22 pm

It's been about seven years of the CGI comedy and there needs to be something different.
What about The Incredibles? That CGI film definitely extended the genre of animation. It was very live action cinema.

And I think as long as Brad Bird is making animated films, we'll continue to see that kind of positive digression.

LOWERED expectations for Chicken Little?

The latest tidbit is that the film's director, Mark Dindal, just quit Disney a few days ago...

That got reported by Jerry Beck (the UN-evil blogger) at CartoonBrew.com

Hmmm... Not looking so good for the chick now.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Harsh. But I'm skeptical that one guy is responsable for almost ALL the bad reviews out there.

According to Jim Hill, that rumor is not true.
