Believe it or not, here's a piece of Samurai Jack trivia/fact for those of you who are fans of Genndy Tartakovsky's Samurai Jack cartoon show that once aired from 2001 to 2004.
Do you know that:
Lauren Tom and Keone Young, who voiced Samurai Jack’s mother and father, respectively, in Genndy Tartakovsky's 2003 Emmy Award-winning Birth of Evil episodes on his Samurai Jack cartoon show, previously appeared together in Rob Reiner's ill-received fiasco of a movie, North (1994), where they tried to use a pre-Lord of the Rings Elijah Wood (who went on to do a bigger and better thing by playing the young hobbit Frodo Baggins in Peter Jackson's epic film trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkien's three-volume masterpiece The Lord of the Rings) as part of a tourism advertisement in Hawaii.
Don’t you believe it, folks?
