Re: Man of Steel, Justice League and DC MOVIES
I'm still curious to see this so-called "homicidal maniac" Man of Steel film that everyone keeps talking about. The movie I saw had Superman in it, not some "homicidal maniac." Maybe there's some R-rated alternate cut I'm not aware of?
And the trailer in question would almost certainly be the footage they showed at Comic-Con. They've been filming this for a LONG time, so it would make sense that they have enough material for a short trailer by now. All they need to do is set up Ben as Bruce, show that he's going to fight Superman in the movie, and boom. Every. March. Record. Shattered.

Compared to the one in Superman vs. the Elite, this one would be on probation from the League for a year.Dacey wrote:I'm still curious to see this so-called "homicidal maniac" Man of Steel film that everyone keeps talking about. Returns in the #1 spot? Whoa. True, the film has some nice touches, but it so misses the mark. Still, one does have to admit that even the first film has significant weaknesses, even if it's heart is in the exact right place.Dacey wrote:This is a...different sort of opinion on the Superman franchise....

Wow...Ben certainly won't like this!
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Re: Man of Steel, Justice League and DC MOVIES
Yeah...I started to read it...I agreed with what it said about The Movie...was enjoying it and thought I would come back to it...but it got a bit long so I started to skim it...got to the bottom and saw the ranking and thought...to heck with that.
I just can't take anything like that seriously if that's the final goal. So, yeah, saw it, can't accept it as anything reasonable, and so it doesn't exist to me. How's that? Done!

My guess is that we'll see six more of these...

I do like the look actually, but I join with all other whiny fanboys in suggesting it wouldn't have killed 'em to let Aquaman stay blonde.

To placate six agents who promised six actors "Lobby exposure" and "Character marketing".Ben wrote:My guess is that we'll see six more of these...
(That's why we're getting them for every movie, now. Used to be easier back when they just paid actors percentages.)
No, no, blonde is yellow, and you know there's nothing colorful in Zack Snyder's world--Randall wrote:I do like the look actually, but I join with all other whiny fanboys in suggesting it wouldn't have killed 'em to let Aquaman stay blonde.
Even Superman's red and blue was bronze and gray.

I have to admit, part of me thinks this looks pretty cool. But I am saddened that this is nothing that I want to watch with my little boy.

A movie where we hate Superman? Yep, sounds like Snyder.

Re: Man of Steel, Justice League and DC MOVIES
This looks like a dark Elseworlds story, not something that should be the mainstream view of the DCU. Could be cool on its own, but it's not showing me the characters I grew up with.
