I think he changed colors every so often. The color of Animated News is the color Animated-Movies was when it closed down.

Not to be technical, but [according to the wayback machine], when Animated-Movies closed down, its background was the green that's currently at the site now.

OMG thanks for that Mike, I didn't know that Animated-Movies was in archive!
