Well, this IS why they introduced, for a couple of years, Best Score (Musical Or Comedy) and Best Score (Dramatic), because he kept winning on that streak from Little Mermaid to Pocahontas.
I do think it's highly unfair that he not be nominated this time though - what's so different between Enchanted's song-filled score and the scores he won the Oscars for - all filled with five or six songs themselves!
Sumthin' ain't right.

That's great news about Enchanted getting three Oscar nominations for Best Original Song! To be honest, I think "Falling Slowly" from Once will win in that category. Still, I'm thrilled that all three of the eligible songs from Enchanted were nominated.

Why not more songs from Enchanted?
You have to enter songs in order for them to be eligible. Disney only submitted the three songs for consideration. (Not sure why--is there a limit to the number of songs one can nom for the category perhaps?)
Why these? I am sure it was a decision made with the influence of Stephen and Alan.
It is pretty stunning that all three songs got nominated!
As far as winning, I wonder if getting three noms will split the vote so that a song from another film will win?
Now I wonder how they will incorporate the songs into the the show? Will Amy sing?
I will let you all know what's going to happen when I find out.
I guess we have to find out IF there will be a show at all. ARGH!

Would be great to have a cast sing-song. Splitting the vote is what killed DreamGirls, I think, but my support is behind How Does She Know, the "liftable ballad" as Mr Menken would have it.

I whould also choose That's How You Know

(thought True Love's Kiss was my favorite).
There's 2 version of the Enchanted DVD:
Widescreen edition and full screen edition (why making them seperate DVDs?).
Anyway i think i"ll give up on the DVD anyway,it only has one disc, the cover is ugly and the only thing about the features that i"m exited is the Deleted sences but if someone will post pictures or will upload them on YouTube (i"m sure that somebody will do that) will be engough for me.

So because of all that, you're not gonna bother with the DVD? That's kind of sad, considering how much you love Enchanted.

I too think that there's an SE down the line, probably when the second one (noooooo!) comes out.
I also think this will be Disney's first Blu-Ray double dip, starting that whole practice over again in hi-def...

That would explain why you don't want to buy it, shame!
Hey Foxtale, if you pre-order from Best Buy, you get a free gift. They don't say what it is, though.

I'm sure surfnspy would like to follow that up with the proper authorities...
