I like him too, but Chicken Little looks like he should have a younger-sounding, maybe even nerdy voice.
funny, because I really, truly, honestly, deeply feel nobody could have been a better choice to voice Chicken Little than Zach Braff. Giving him this older, high pitched, weird voice is brilliant. Reminds me of all the great surreal moments from Scrubs, one of my favourite TV series.

Watching the Chicken Little's "Dodgeball" clip, I think Braff is a great choice for Chicken Little. In my opinion, he brings an innocent, nerdy sound to the character, with Braff's voice seeming higher than it does in real-life.

SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER

Post by PatrickvD » October 5th, 2005, 4:23 pm

okay, I just finished watching it and It's kind of... weird? its definitely aiming at the Emperor's New Groove audience. the [SPOILER] Lion King opening... was weird lol I'm not sure if that's gonna work. Animation looks fine. I hate it when people compare the animation to Jimmy Neutron. Just because designwise it has a similair tone doesn't mean that the quality of the animation is down there too. In my opinion the animation looks surprisingly good for a first effort. Definitely better than the uninspirational stuff I see in the Shrek movies. Still, after viewing these first 4 minutes Im not sure if it's gonna be as laugh out loud funny as new Groove. I can only hope... cause New Groove just rocks.

Oh hell yeah, this looks awesome.

They're also winning huge points becuase of the choice of songs they are using their trailers. "End of the world as we know it" is such an awesome song. And if THAT weren't enough, they made a video of Chicken Little dancing to Numa Numa.

I'm really looking forward to this.

Is anyone else sick of seeing movies open with a TLK spoof?

Raise of hands...

I thought so.

I don't want to have to install the shaky AOL Player, so I'll pass for now...

Great Article. It's a perfect reflection on what's happening right now.
There's so much pressure on Chicken Little. I really hope it takes off!

Did you see how many sequels Pixar might have in development? (wait, the only original film is the rat movie??)

And people complain about DreamWorks....

(Does this mean Pixar might finally be running out of ideas? I'd be careful if I were Iger.)
