Yah, Paris.

Who also did the DuckTales Movie (their learning ground), the opening to Hunchback and a bunch of other stuff. Glen Keane was there for a while.

maybe it's the laserdisc version? I'm also curious as to which cut would come to dvd, because there's both this version, and also a slightly more risque version, though I don't really think that more innuendos would improve the movie that much. And while I do agree that some people might not be interested in buying the dvd if and when it comes out because it's on youtube, for me this just made me more interested in owning it, especially if they put some interesting bonus features on it and gave it a beautiful transfer.

Yah, Paris.

By any chance, that wasn't in or near DisneyLand Paris, was it? :)

Nah, the LD was full-frame.

I'd love to see this on disc in widescreen, and forget You Tube. It's good for guiving things a dry test run, but watching a full movie like that? I couldn't for sure.

:)

Wendy's Jane wrote:"A Goofy Movie" was animated in Paris, if I'm not mistaken.
Hee, I was watching that again for the first time in years today. Such a fun flick. :)

Disney Pixar Compete Collection (12 discs)

Post by yamiiguy » October 18th, 2006, 8:59 am

http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/3230144/ ... oduct.html

Does anyone know what versions of what films will be in this boxset because the Monsters. Inc and A Bug's Life 2-discers are OOP and with Cars only getting a 1-disc release that would be only 11 discs so is there going to be a 2-disc Monsters Inc. in here or a 2-disc A Bug's Life?

I believe, in referring to DVDs, it's "disc" with a c. Like Compact Disc.

A disk is more common when referring to a computer drive or floppy.

Sorry...pet hate. ;)

Well, I would say that it's the single-disc of Bug's Life - look at the extensive extras, just like the original disc that they still have thousands of copies to shift.

CARS - 1 disc
TOY STORY - 2 disc
TOY STORY 2 - 2 disc
MONSTERS INC -2 disc
A BUG'S LIFE - original 1 disc they're trying to shift
FINDING NEMO - 2 disc
THE INCREDIBLES - 2 disc

A shame, since that's otherwise a nice lookin' box.

well a pity that CARS and A BUG'S LIFE are only 1-discers but since the only Pixar film I have (on DVD) is Monsters Inc. i'll probably get this for the nice box and artwork and just take out the CARS and A BUG'S LIFE and replace them with 2-disc counterparts

There's no 2-disc for Cars yet.

But there will be... ;)
