Fan rumors about whether the project would quietly disappear during strike delays were all over the Internet, and could swear we already had one about Disney officially dropping foot-mouthed Rachel Ziegler, now that they were going back to square one.
But no--Because studios, once they invest a lot of money in a project they've told themselves can do no wrong, like to sink into denial when early audience reaction suggests they DID do wrong...And they comfort themselves by telling themselves it must have just been those impish lil' fanboys again, stubbornly nitpicking some minor problem that can be quickly fixed in post over the weekend without too much money, in time for the release date.
Which, in this case, would be: "Oh, I see! Disney fans were just too upset about the 'No Dwarves' thing! They just wanted it to be more in the Magical Pixie-Dust Disney Legacy Family Tradition!
