Well, if there's 1 thing Dreamworks never seems to fail at, it's their advertising. So I don't think many of their releases will pass unnoticed.

Also, I still know a lot of people who call EVERY 3D computer animated movie a Pixar movie, because they don't know better than Pixar being the only studio who uses 3D CGI for their movies. Which was true... over 15 years ago, that is. In our local theater I've heard people saying they lost faith in Pixar after seeing Alpha and Omega...

Anyway, I don't know the respective amounts of people that work for Pixar and Dreamworks. Maybe Dreamworks has a lot more people working for them at the moment, I don't think they'd be so stupid to make a lots of movies with only half the normal crew...
