Just Kong? Geez, I thought I went overboard on *everything*.
Kong '76 disappointingly has no extras besides the trailer. I don't know if it's any different than the previous release, just a new box put out to coincide with the new film and the DVD release of the original Kong. At least it was cheap.
Apparently, Ben, this DVD buying thing never ends. I thought I was about done 2 years ago, but then the special editions kept getting better (I'm looking at you, Warner Home Video), and TV on DVD took off.

Finally got Batman: The Animated Series Volume IV (the New Adventures) plus The Simpsons: Season 7. (It has the episode with the original creator of Itchy and Scratchy as well as the "Schoolhouse Rock" Parody.)
Next on the list: Futurama: Season I.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

As it's Christmas, I got these from my Grandmother:
Walt Disney Treasures: Disney Rarities
Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald Volume 2
The Simpsons: Season 2
The Simpsons: Season 5
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Hope you all have had a Merry Christmas (or Channukah or Kwanzaa if you celebrate those instead :p)!

Wow! I need to update here!
I haven't posted my new buys since late December, and Mac's catalog title rush reminded me that I did an end of year buyup of stuff I'd missed during 2005.
Along with new releases, here's what I've bought in 2006 so far:
Valiant, Sin City SE, Death Race 2000, Disney Rarities, Disney’s Legendary Heroes, Chicago SE, Fandango, Finian's Rainbow, Beaches SE, Blues Brothers 25th, The Deer Hunter SE, The Sting SE, To Kill A Mockingbird, Lifeboat, Tremors Attack Pack, Dumb And Dumber SE, Dead Poets Society, Good Morning Vietnam, Adventures Of Superman Season Two, Flightplan, Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, Logan’s Run, Legend Of Zorro, Wallace & Gromit: The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit, Bambi II, Lady And The Tramp SE, All The President’s Men, Quick Change, Breakfast At Tiffany’s, Return Of The Pink Panther, Not Another Teen Movie, Legend 2-disc SE.
Of those, To Kill A Mockingbird was missing the supposed theatrical art cards, and Bambi II was a DVD Toons review disc.
On order right now I have Dog Day Afternoon, all the other Pink Panther movies and the Pink cartoons box.
And how many have I watched? Actually, an impressive 10 or so sets!
