Mad Magazine!!
In the new issue of Mad they have the Incredibles on the cover. They make fun of all the stuff going on behind the scenes with Pixar, DW, Disney, etc..on the inside. Plus they have a section with Eisner doing a powerpoint demonstration on how to improve Disney.
It is a very good issue.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Mad!!!
Mad mag managed to diss Family Guy, The Simpsons, WOTW, South Park AND Adult Swim all in one issue!
I'd definetely pick this one up. The dig about never knowing when Adult Swim has stuff on is just hilarious.

You've all gotta realize something about the animation industry and comics in general.
A bunch of the people that work in these industries are ultra far-left, socialist-leaning, miserable, pessimists. Not all of them, but a significant percentage of them.
I have never seen such an industry with individuals who are so contemptuous of ANYBODY who's successful. The barometer of acceptance in animation amongst these guys has less to do with who's a mainstream success rather than who "disses the Man" the best and who's the most obscure cartoonist with a cult following.
That's also very true of many of the people acknowledged as leading animation researchers -- Amid Amidi, Michael Barrier, etc.
(That's very true in many art circles, period.)
It's sad to say all that, but look at the posts on the p!ssing board known as Animation Nation and you tell me if that isn't pathetic...
Fact is that a lot of the professionals working in animation look on fans as toads and don't accept that people like shows like Family Guy and South Park. You wouldn't believe some of the things said behind closed doors until you actually read and hear these guys saying these things.
The biggest losers in this world are people incapable of congratulating others for success and accepting that not everybody likes the same thing. That's a part of the reason why the animation industry is such a mess now. We can talk and blame the management at Disney, DreamWorks, and all the other major entertainment corporations all we want, but fact is that there are big problems with the attitudes of a bunch of people left working in animation today...
What was printed in Mad Magazine is NOT a blip. It's really what these people think nearly 24/7.

The first issue of Mad I ever bought was the Star Wars Special they did in 97 when the trilogy was rereleased. Next was another special full of nothing but Spy Vs. Spy. That hooked me and I've been, more or less, a regular reader ever since (I especially enjoy their Classic mag reprinting older material).
