Principal?--More like the Headmaster, around here. ;)

And you could see that Thompson in the first movie wanted to make her own DIY Mary Poppins out of the obscure book series just on similarities, but...removed every single bit of charm or whimsy that we ever remotely associated with the Disney/Travers versions.

Saw the original a while back when I had one of the premium channels for free. Thought it was enjoyable, didn't know it wasn't well liked.

Sequel trailer has been removed "due to terms of use violation" so can't comment on it.

I don't think anybody really cares about Nanny McPee ... saw the first one but didn't think it was anything special... and the flying piglets don't really invite me to see the sequel :shock:
