Jetsons - Season Two Announced
Well, it seems we'll finally get more Jetsons on DVD. It's been rumored for a while now, but I'm glad it's official. According to TVShowsOnDVD, Season Two, Volume One will be coming out in June.

I am really excited as it was one of my favorite cartoons growing up. The second season was really a revival of the 60s cartoon. To me, it was just as entertaining as the first one. Anyone else looking forward to this one?

Not bad! At least in keeping with the other HB sets.
I caught the Jetsons Movie the other day and haven't seen it in years (probably since it came out). The print was a widescreen transfer so I'm guessing it's the same element that Uni will use for their DVD - not bad, but not clean.
It started off not too bad, and the obvious CG backgrounds have some charm to them being as they would have seemed very cool back in 1989, but I'd forgotten about the Ewok things that help save the day and the way the whole film basically grinds to a halt mid-way through and becomes a chore to make it through to the end (at around 70 minutes, with an over ten minute credit scroll!).
I'd saved it to my DVR and decided to burn it to disc rather than pick up the new disc...I reasoned that I wouldn't be watching again in a rush so this'll do me as a keepsake of the movie.
