Peter Jackson's King Kong
They took the pic down? How about that. Kong looked pretty great, in my opinion. Basically, the image was a close-up of the right side of his face. There was a scar around his right eyebrow, with the scar resembling three claw marks. In addition, there was a single razor-sharp, bottom tooth that stuck upward out of Kong's mouth, even as the mouth was closed. Also, Kong was looking slightly downward, seemingly in a sad fashion.
Interestingly, Kong looked green-tinted in the pic, but I believe that was just for the card's dramatic effect.

I forgot the trailer for King Kong debuted on television tonight. Nonetheless, I just saw it online.
One word: Amazing.
Honestly, I feel like I should send Disney some sort of donation, considering how much money The Chronicles of Narnia may lose going against King Kong.
Also, seeing as how the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is constantly looking for ways to shorten the Oscar telecast, I say they go ahead and give Weta the award for Best Visual Effects. That should cut about five minutes from next year's show.

They just ran this as a special presentation in the UK.
Wow - I am hyped. I kind of wish they hadn't revealed so much of Kong so early, and some of the green screen stuff does look a bit dodgy, but Noo Yoik and the backgrounds are awesome.
Not sure on the sizing of Kong - some shots he seemed to be too small (more like Mighty Joe), but overall, this looks solid fun, even if I'm not the biggest Black/Brody fan.
