I haven't seen the promo since I don't watch tv that much at school. Thanks for posting it though. It is high quality animation, definately a fan of this ad. ^.^ Thanks for posting it. Too bad gas prices are so high, I guess I'll have to wait to go and get to see this attraction in person.

Finally a release date for season 11!! Can't wait for the cover art and bonus material info! Yes, I'm still exited, even if it is my least favorite season.

Awe, this Sundays episode had a dedication at the end for Paul Newman. Thought that was sweet and a nice touch. Thought the episode was pretty good, but liked the season premiere a lot more. Probably one of the funniest in recent years.
BTW, for this years Halloween special, one of the segments is going to spoof It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! I seriously can't wait to see how it's done.

Nothing is confirmed, but season 1 is rumored for a Blu-ray release.
There's also hope that starting with season 13, they'll have both SD and BD versions optional. I'll personally love if that became a reality, since that's when Jean takes over and the show switches to digital ink and paint - actually I think that was season 14, but still. True I love the old cell animation more, but it was inevitable and those seasons will benefit more from Blu-ray.

Simpsons on BD? Really?
I can't really see people buying this stuff like that again. But that's just me. Those early Simpsons looked pretty rough coming off composite BetaSP masters like they did. I'm surprised they'd go back and master all these again, but I guess it's a way to future proof the library for further syndication.
I just wouldn't have thought there was much money double format dipping on long-running series at this point anyway. Who knows, maybe it'll be a groundbreaker?
