I was interested the front page article about the "junk food" issue if Shrek telling kids to "go out and play" and then having product plugs in the film?
Which products appear? Just curious.
Does Shrek actually drink a Pepsi or eat bagel chips or something? I though Shrek only liked swamp food!!!
(Is it a Starbucks plug left over from part 2? If so, I can understand their being upset since Starbucks isn't a terribly healthy food choice....)
Shrek: Hey Donkey, obey your thirst!!

Ohhh....I see.
But come one....every film does that. Especially animated ones. How else are they supposed to make a profit?
(still, I get their point...)
DW never should have had Shrek saying that anyway. Anyone who eats swamptoad soup and weedrat shouldn't be lecturing on a healthy diet....
The whole idea was bad...it's all 'cause of Paramount/Nick.
(Sometimes I also think DW just bites off more than they can chew and tries to be too many things to too many people...)

I still love DW....but y'know, they're not like "perfect" or anything...
Like, maybe 99.9999999% perfect, but still....
(JK still rules!! )
Anyways, here's Justin Timberlake on the old Mickey Mouse club!!
I think Britney's the girl in the front, on the left.
(The song Justin sings is one of my fave songs ever!! ) *Yeah, I know it's a re-worked Elvis song, done many times, but I like the new version better.

Yeah, it seems really obvious now that he wasn't.....the person who uploaded it said it was Justin, however.

Yeah, I agree. They're way too young to do stuff like that and poor Britney and Christina were already being told to stand in those "sexy poses"....really sad when you think of what happened to them later.
There's something wrong seeing and hearing kids performing such songs with mature themes. Watching them trying to "emote" cracks me up.
