I think that was always the intention.

Like Antz, which on the original logo was ANTZ in capitals with the Z at an angle. They weren'y trying to be hip, it was the name of the main character - ANT Z.

DreamWorks have been quite good with their titles.

Wow, I never knew that! :)

DreamWorks have been quite good with their titles.
I think they do too but I was somewhat disappointed when I learned recently that they are changing "Rex Havoc and the Atomic 8" into "Monsters vs. Aliens"?????????

I'm sure the movie will be good, but I liked the first title much better. :(

Oh, man! Yeah, I had totally missed that! Thanks!
I missed it too! Liked it a lot, especially Remy's character animation. I liked the young Chef too. (forgot his name)

One thing I noticed: Doesn't Chef Louie remind you a lot of Stromboli in Pinocchio? :P

I know one is French and the other is Italian, but their temperament, character movements and physical appearance (slightly) all kind of reminded me of each other....or something like that, I'm pretty sure I worded that wrong. :P

Also, this is kinda funny to see! :P :)

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Yeah, Rex Havoc...what an Incredibles clone! ;)

On your link: why is that funny? Am I missing something? :)

Nah, not really funny I guess, :P just cool to see the movie's title with some actual serious cooking, you know? :)

???

The movie's title? Last time I checked ratatouille was a dish that's been served up for a long while before Pixar even existed! ;)

Oh, look! Superman Beans! ;)

There was a poll on VFX hell over this: (never discussed much, I guess not many voted.)

So funny....if a little mean.

Pixar put that Ratatouille anim test on YouTube as part of a viral ad campaign

true - oh how wonderfully clever and in touch of them
false - someones in deep s***

I'm not sure....did they ever officially comment on the footage?

I'm 99.9 % sure it was intentional, but you never know.
