I still think Cartoon Wars was absolutely brilliant writing--I still think it should have been nominated for the Emmy instead of Trapped in the Closet, which was funny, but definetely not one of their more biting satires IMHO.

Oh, and how could I forget The Retun of Chef!

I like South Park.
Some episodes are hilarious (LOTR-Porn video) others are just - over the top (I just hate Hitler jokes!)

I don't think I can ever be sick of South Park! I catch the reruns at night just so that I can fall asleep happy.
Although the new ones have been kinda weird. I didn't like "Stanley's Cup"

Gasp.

Its been a while since I've seen it too, but I don't think I'll find it any less amusing.

This week's episode:
Hillary Clinton is in town for a big campaign rally in an all-new "South Park" on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 10:00 P.M. on Comedy Central

Cartman suspects the new Muslim student is behind a terrorist threat in an all-new "South Park" entitled, "The Snuke," premiering on Wednesday, March 28.

The clock is ticking as the citizens prepare for Hillary Clinton's big campaign rally. Every minute counts as Cartman uses his own methods to interrogate the suspect. But could the plan to target Hillary Clinton be just the tip of the iceberg?

seems like another cartman/political one

Yeah, it probably ties with "Cartoon Wars" as my fave SP episode.

Speaking of which, there's this cool article on SP/Simpsons/FG rivalries in the Chicago Sun Times, got it through TAG:

http://www.suntimes.com/entertainment/e ... 09.article

Here's a quote from MG about the Simpsons movie:
On the "Simpsons" movie, set for release in July: "Whoever you don't want to see naked on 'The Simpsons,' that's who you're gonna see [naked]."

You know, I've never seen "Cartoon Wars". Everytime they repeat it, I always seem to miss it. But I will catch it one day! :)

You didn't know about the naked bit, Vi? Where have you been! J/k ;) I thought everybody knew. :?

Great article, btw! Thanks for posting it.
