The incredibly cool online animation thread
Download the Charlie Brown spoof while you can!
There's a reason why this film isn't widely seen...
It basically breaks copyright rules.
I'd download "Bring Me the Head of Charlie Brown" ASAP before the Schultz estate or United Features Syndicate gets wind of this!
I first heard about this short about a month or two ago on the Film Threat website (it was discussed in their Bootleg Films column) and I've definitely snagged it for my little Internet toon collection.

James,
That was a GREAT movie to link to!
Thanks for pointing out the Brew link...
That short is easily the funniest one I've downloaded onto my computer since "The Spirit of X-Mas."
I had to stop watching it halfway through the first time I looked at it because I was laughing so hard!
Seriously, I LIKE sick humor.
This is the funniest Peanuts spoof I've seen since those gag strips Mad Magazine ran shortly after Charles Schultz died....
The animation is very nice, it's written, and it doesn't go too long. Easily one of the better hand-drawn student films I've seen in a LONG time.

Posting guidelines - 50's style
Check out this link:

It's a funny flash animation, in the style of those old 1950's videos they used to show in schools, where "Timmy" learns some guidelines about posting in web forums. Be warned - there is a bit of foul language in it.

A fun little thing, but I wish they'd gone the whole hog and done it in black and white, with film scratches to really get the joke across (especially since the soundtrack was so spot on in that dated way). Then the big red "Post in an existing thread rather than start a new one" (you hearing this GeorgeC? could have stayed red and been even funnier.
Ahh well, I'm picking at a joke Flash file. It was funny ("dumb ass")

Evil Dead/Highlander parody short on the web!
There's a claymation short directed by a Frenchman on the web at http://alm.fernandez.free.fr/fichiers/DebilDead.mov
It's a parody of Evil Dead/Highlander, an Ash versus Connor McCleod parody.
Don't know if anybody will like this, but I guess this is how this particular French fellow sees a small slice of American pop culture (although I really think Highlander is more European)!
The short's about 3 minutes long and is 46 MB download.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

I really wanted to get this as well as Faster!Cheaper! but I don't really want to buy anything over the internet unless it's Amazon. I wish they would just market this in regular bookstores, like in the humor section. And I don't live anywhere near California so I can't just go to some "Comic-Con".
I guess the market for it is too specialized and maybe the Disney company doesn't want this getting out, but I wish it would be in regular bookstores.
Plus on the cover of "Grinch," who the heck is that other guy with the cigarette??
