Awesome! :)

Also, I don't know if anyone noticed or saw this, but I saw in the Japanese trailer of Spidey 3 that Willem Dafoe is gonna be making another cameo appearance as Norman Osborne, ghost of Harry's dad!!!! AHHHHHHHH! :D

Basically, it's Harry looking into the mirror again and his dad is there too going: "Why haven't you killed Spiderman yet??" or something. Poor Harry.....:(

BTW, it just occurred to me recently how much the whole Harry/Peter/Spidey/Green Goblin conflict resembles the Hamlet storyline! (father is dead, his ghost urges son to get revenge, etc....:) )

It's sort of like Lion King but in Lion King, Mufasa never told Simba to kill Scar, or even that Scar killed him. (That's what happened in Hamlet)

I thought the SFX were too much visible!! Ruin the action for me which was not great. I want to see more action with the Sandman and Venom!

Looking nice 'n' gritty.

I truly do hope they let Spidey be Spidey in this though, and cut back on the hey-look-at-me-Tobey-Maquire-as-Spidey thing they had going in the last one.

Yes, I agree. :)

In the first film, with him wearing the mask a lot and making jokes once in a while ("Hey kiddo....let mom and dad talk for a minute, will ya?") that felt much more like, well.... Spider-Man, not the "angst-riddled guy who occasionally wears a Spider-Man outfit and fights bad guys" in Spidey 2.

(Even though I LOVED Spidey 2. But Ben is right, less Tobey, more Spidey!!! :) :? 8) )

BTW, even though Tobey is a great actor, I really hope he starts looking a little older and more sure of himself in Spidey 3. In Spidey 1 he's an unsure High School kid, in Spidey 2 he's an unsure college kid....he did that great and everything, but with the with all the "complexity" and guilt his character carries around, we need him to be a little more intimidating than he's been.

Plus Peter Parker is a brilliant accomplished science researcher as well, not just an unsure (if still a genius) college kid who struggles to get to class on time---I hope they show more of this too! :)

Well, Tobey isn't really any great shakes as an actor unless he's being very well directed. Raimi brings that out in him well, but only for what's needed for what is basically a layered comic-book movie.

He looks good in the trailers though, and we don't want him changing too much film to film do we?

I think he's being very arrogant thinking he has much of a career without the Spidey franchise to fall back on, if the rumors are true that he's jumping ship after this one. These films give him the clout to do the other things he wants to do. Too many of those without a hit and he's essentially finished.

I hope Spidey 3 has more of Dr. Conners! :) (Dylan Baker...yay!! :) )

I've heard that Kirsten also doesn't want to come back to Spidey after 3. I think some have also said she won't have much afterward. But wasn't she just in that Marie Antoinette film?

She's also a good actress, but doesn't have all that much range from what I can see. Pretty much like Tobey. :?

Star-power will only get you so far.....I think the really successful stars have tried to break out of their image and do challenging, risky projects.

Case in Point: The awesome Charlize Theron. :)

The final Spider-Man 3 trailer is now available via Comcast. However, if it's a better peek at Venom you're after, then you might want to check out the international version of the ad, up at Yahoo! Australia. Interestingly, /Film found a hidden image of Venom in the latter trailer.

Meanwhile, rumors are already circulating about the villain in Spider-Man 4. Turns out that it might be Morlun, a relatively new foe in the Spidey universe, says Cinema Blend.

Y'know, whenever Tobey tries to look scared or shocked...I totally crack up. He looks like such a goofball when he does that.

Yeah, I agree!!!

Especially when he's "given up" being Spidey, and then some crime's going on and he wants to help but can't, his eyes go wide and he really overdoes it.
