Oh yeah, blame it on the trailers
Just kidding
But Disney buying DWA? I hope that won't happen! That would mean that Katzenberg would be at Disney again, and I don't want to see him in the Disney buildings ever again. However, maybe he has learned his lesson now and learned that animation is NOT like live action... But still, let Disney have some healthy competition! Disney taking over DWA is a big no no
To get back to the movie: What's up with the barf at the end though? Is that Shrek's son or daughter? He/she's even nastier than Shrek! Ewww... Reminds me of the Exorcist

Reminds me of the Exorcist
I think that's what it was a reference to.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Rex: (of Vi's recent post) Aaahh! She's at it again!
Maybe one of us should just make an official DreamWorks Vs. Disney thread? I dunno. It just seems like we're talking about the same thing in every other topic.
And, as I said before, Disney is unlikely to buy DreamWorks. They might show their Christmas specials on their networks, but the Mouse House is not going to own the Ogre.

Well maybe. But it wasn't DW vs. Disney or Pixar, just about Katzenberg. (And this time it's relevent to the thread because it's a Shrek thread.)Maybe one of us should just make an official DreamWorks Vs. Disney thread? I dunno. But I get your point.
Code: Select all
but the Mouse House is not going to own the Ogre.
BTW, I think Dacey is a cool name!

I think it will too. The story seems to be much different from Shrek 2 and Shrek 1--not just a retread.I predict the movie will be much better!
That scene with Shrek on the bed was the first one we saw in Ithaca.
Hey Ben, any luck with the trailer?

I don't know what you all thought about the the 2nd Shrek against the 1st but I thought the second one was crap. Now the very first time I saw it I thought it was equal to the first but then I saw it again... after I grew up... and a realized how predictiable and TOO cute it was. It was annoying. Now it did get funny at times but I must say that Shrek 2 is overrated. And so is Puss in Boots. Blah.
I'll see the third one... but I'm nervous.

Of all the blockbusters that will come out around the same time as Shrek (Spider3, Pirates II) I bet that's gonna be Shrek that will deceive a lot of people! The trailer is so disappointing, nothing we already saw in the previous movies!

What do you mean by deceive? Do you mean it won't meet their expectations?
Well, I do admit the trailer is lame.....
still, there has been some good buzz on it from those who saw early previews (of the entire film.)
