But personally I still think he would have been better than Brad Pitt, although Brad wasn't all that bad. I just think Russell's accent and "lusty" voice would have been better than Brad's Cali/Valley way of speaking.
That's true, but practically everyone thinks "gangster" when Robert De Niro's voice is heard. (especially since he did Analyze This, that Sopranos rip-off)Besides, since he's so well known as Tony Soprano, it would've been taking "Type-casting" to an extreme, don't you think?
James also had some kind of deal with DW, I think. He did The Mexican, The Last Castle, and Christmas with the Kranks as well. All very different roles. I still think he would have been a really good Don Lino.
