We now have something fairly cool: Disney Cinemagic, which plays all the classic features and rubbish sequels, and live-action Disney flicks. Best thing is in-between the movies, we get the good Disney TV shows (Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Tarzan) and a great many "Classic Toons".
I'd kill just to have this..... :(

Nice. They've got Hercules and Timon & Pumbaa. I'd be satisfied with just that.

However, it looks like you only get 10 minutes of classic toons each day. Is that it? Or does it change everyday? I mean it seems like a tease! That would only be enough time to probably show 1 cartoon.

Amen! I can't believe they actually have Cinderella the movie, I'd die to be able to see that on T.V. Disney in America would NEVER do that.
And Timon and Pumbaa? Darn I miss that show. :)

Here it's Raven, Raven, Raven, Raven, Lizzie Macguire, Playhouse Disney, Bear in the Big Blue House.....Someone PLEASE rescue us. :(

Kinda interesting: (From Wikepedia)

Launched as a commercial-free premium channel (with the exception of advertisements for Disney entertainment products, see Mike's Super Short Show), the Disney Channel began with basic family programming of shows and movies. (It was then co-owned by The Walt Disney Company and Westinghouse through Group W.) The channel received a special citation from U.S. President Ronald Reagan in 1984.

Plus at one time Disney apparently had a show called: "Father of Pride"--What the heck?

I checked out Toon Disney's list of shows:

Aladdin
American Dragon Jake Long
Brandy and Mr. Whiskers
Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
Dave the Barbarian
The Emperor's New School
Fillmore!
Hercules
House of Mouse
Kim Possible
Legend of Tarzan
Lilo & Stitch
Little Mermaid
Lloyd in Space
Proud Family
Recess
Timon and Pumbaa
Weekenders

We can't even get classic Disney toons and toons like Rescue Rangers and Talespin anymore over here in the US. I guess the only solution to this is with DVDs.

Also, as you can see, the not-so-great Disney toons from Disney Channel are starting to creep over to Toon Disney. I predict that they'll eventually push the good shows off the list. :x

I thought that was the shortly-lived animated TV series done by Dreamworks. I think it ran on NBC. I forget.

AAARRRRHH....more $$$$$ from my pocket! :x

Yeah, I know what you mean, but I think this was a completely different show. "Father of the Pride" was DW and Disney wouldn't air a DW animated show on their channel.

(...unless they buy DWA which even though I hope doesn't happen, it might. :( At least that's my theory.)

We get more than 10 minutes of Classic Toons a day. Quite often they'll slot an extra one in here and there. We've even had Runaway Brain as an "extra"!

Other features shown so far include the restored Bambi, so they're not afraid of showing some of the more revered stuff. Also nice that we get a selection of live-action and classic 70s pictures.

------------------------------

Would be very inetersting if Disney bought DWA...did you know that when they were in talks to sell the live-action side that Disney was a contender (albeit very brief). Would be fun to see JK back at the mouse house! ;)

Runaway Brain?! That would be sweet. I remember seeing that yeeaars ago. I don't even recall the movie it was attached to when I saw it. I've always wondered if it's on some DVD or something. It would be nice to get ahold of that.
