Just a random question; is WWOD on almost every week in the US? I once read that it was a sparodic fixture, so I'm wondering how often it is on.

It was / will be on ABC.
Basically they have a Saturday night movie, and if its a Disney movie, they slap the WWOD intro on it. There's really nothing special about the Wonderful World of Disney anymore.
I've been enjoying the Disney Treasures set featuring Elfego Baca and the Swamp Fox. Of course I've already got Disneyland USA and Davy Crocket. Those were the days, when the Disney show had some original content and was used to experiment and test new ideas.

Well, there's still hope of no more teeny-bopper shows...Phil of the Future has been cancelled, apparently...

I still wouldn't get any hopes up about Vault Disney. The recent DCOM (High School Musical) was the highest rated show ever on the Disney Channel (over 7.7 million viewers) & it has the most requested songs on iTunes, the most requested soundtrack at Amazon & has been the most requested song on Radio Disney. Raven & Suite life are extremely popular as are there other shows. Why is Phil being cancelled so early? I don't know. But even if it didn't get cancelled now, it most likely would very soon (with the exception of Raven, Disney Channel usually ends shows after 65 episodes).

Back in the 80's and early 90's it was on all the time (plus Wonderful World of Color on Sunday Mornings) I know it may be hard to believe this now but a lot of little kids knew who Eisner was and liked watching him on TV. He was actually a pretty good host. Some people didn't even know him as the CEO, just "that guy on television who talks to Mickey." When he was in public sometimes little kids would just come up to him because they thought he knew all the characters. It used to be on pretty regularly, but I can only think of one time its been on in the past few months (Once Upon a Mattress).
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
