Not particularly "classic" (though I suspect the chorus will grow on us!), but nice job on the lyric and it has the authentic sound (outside of Animal's tinny drum solo).
The full track listing for the album has been revealed. It's a satisfying mix of original songs and covers. If you want to go in blind I would avoid this:

Gotta Be
True Colors
The Sound of Us
Have a Little Faith in Me
Join Together
We Are One
Can You Picture That?
God Only Knows
On Our Way
Bridge Over Troubled Water
Rock and Roll All Nite
Gonna Get There
Believe in Us (Extended Version)
Makin’ Mayhem (featuring Sofia Carson)
All You Need Is Love
MAYHEM!
The Muppets Mayhem Medley (Mick Giacchino)
Marshmullucinations (Mick Giacchino)
Nora’s Medley (Mick Giacchino)
Zoot’s Suits (Mick Giacchino)
The Muppets Mayhem End Credits (Mick Giacchino)
Awe, pooh…not available on Amazon UK, although an import from the US is just a shade under thirty pounds, which isn’t bad at all if it weren’t for the risks of sending a vinyl album across the ocean. Anyone know how Amazon ship records? I might just stream it from Spotify to hear it first, but I’m tempted by the vinyl.
Ooh, cool…that didn’t come up for me, weirdly. Thanks! I’ll keep that open and see if it pops up. Fingers crossed as it’ll be safer and probably a little cheaper. There’s a *very* slim chance than it might be stocked by our local supermarket, which carries some chart albums and occasional oddities. Would be pretty cool if this actually charts — I bet there’s a bunch of certain-age Muppet fans from back in the day that are now fuelling the current vinyl boom!
Never thought I’d ever be looking at buying a new Muppets album again! Would have also been cool for it be a deep yellow color: “golden teeth and golden tones” and all that, but the purple and blue is still indeed funkadelic!
Floyd Pepper has always been one of my favorites, always nice to see him highlighted. However, this is pretty much the first time in as long as Matt Vogel has been performing him, which has been a good many years, that I’ve really noticed it isn’t Jerry Nelson. Maybe it’s just the roomy atmos of the mic, and that he’s hyper and live instead of mic'd up and the usual laid back, chilled Floyd, like in the Mayhem trailer, but that clip there was the first time I was really aware that it wasn’t Nelson. Still not bad, and it’s the best voice he has taken forward as a prominent legacy character.
Rewatching the old episodes on D+, Floyd comes off as...kind of a jerk, and almost the school-bully of the group:
The band's the only talented member of the show company, he's the most talented member of the band, and seems to KNOW it--If he isn't spending time jamming with the actual musically talented guest, he's dropping hip wisecracks about what nutty losers Gonzo and Fozzie are, and doesn't really seem to want to associate with any of the other misfits.
While Janice, OTOH, just chills out, fer sure, and actually participates in the Veterinarian's Hospital sketches.
