Will the Movies Anywhere version be the restored 4K release when we type the code in? I've been bummed I ordered this not realizing you need the 4K Blu player but if Movies Anywhere has it then all is not lost!

If they have it in 4K then, yes, I would imagine that and most/all digital versions will be, or eventually become, this new update. :)

The lithograph will also lessen the sting!

I have so many DMC lithographs laying around all over the house...I need to do something with them!

The Blu-ray and DVD both have the new, more faithful restoration. The guy who we first saw put up a pic of his Blu-ray disc never checked.

Well that’s better news. Let’s hope that’s right. :)

To be clear, I meant the guy who took the photo never checked, not nice Daniel!

Soon we will find out for sure if the Blu-ray and DVD have the new transfer, but more and more are saying they do!

I got this coming...don't know when it'll arrive though.

In the meantime, Movies Anywhere updated the Signature with the new transfer! It looks even better than on Vudu!

Ha, I don't think anyone thought you meant me! If I had gotten it early I know what to have looked out for and would've been extra peeved! I still have doubts, but hopefully the new restoration isn't restricted to the 4K.

I’m wondering if I should look at getting the DMC release too: the apparent August wide release is a little sketchy. Blu-ray.com is only showing a potential steelbook, while Billy Bits showed the wide Amaray packaging that I hope we'll get…

Ah, that makes me feel a bit betterer. Good chance of a standard US Amaray release too then! :)

Another comparison between the old transfer and the 4K version:

The colors! The sparkles! Just gorgeous.
