And, as they say in the men's room, "Will you aim too, please?"

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Now that was a summer! I still remember being awed by the Batman preview shown on Entertainment Tonight several weeks earlier. My friends and I couldn't have been more stoked. Saw it opening night, wearing my Bat-shirt!ShyViolet wrote: ↑May 29th, 2022, 3:13 pmAwesome super-retro clip of Bat-Mania ‘89!!

Yes, definitely! I remember seeing toys and merchandise EVERYWHERE! (I had a three-inch plastic Joker lol.) And lines around the block in front of theaters.
Just found this AWESOME, very obscure (well nowadays) teaser from December 1988; you can tell they were still very much in the editing phase of course…the line readings are a little different than those in the actual movie, plus the background sound/music isn’t quite there. But it’s really cool to see the alternate ways these roles were performed!

Really!!!??
I’ve seen so many films opening night! Not so much lately, though I did the midnight shows for the recent Star Wars films and Endgame. It used to be a ritual, though, or at least go and see two movies on opening day!
