The Red Hand Gang, fer shure!
I’ve not thought about that in about 25 years (after it provided a bonding moment between myself and a couple of people that would go on to become really good close friends), and now the theme music is bouncing around my bonce!

Surreal to see Matthew Labyorteaux in modern clothes... so use to his prairie look from Little House!

No one here seems to remember the New Shmoo. I used to love that.

It's so weird that the Schmoo show ever got made, considering it was based on a Li'l Abner-originated fad from years earlier (and that strip ended around 1977), but I also used to enjoy the show. Then, of course, those eps got repurposed for the Flinstones Meet The Schmoo.

And the idea that the Thing was now no longer Ben Grimm, but a solo teen kid who could change back and forth.
H-B had just done one more Fantastic Four series the year before (the one with Herbie the Robot, IIRC), and clearly thought "The other three?...F that! We know who the kids tune in for! "
While Casper & the Angels proved that you didn't need the Partridge Family to reuse the Jetsons "future" backgrounds one MORE time.
(Considering they were rerunning the classic Jetsons episodes the same season.)

DePatie-Freleng was responsible for H.E.R.B.I.E., but otherwise, yeah. H-B's Thing was fully bizarre.
