Just re-watched Ant-man and the Wasp yesterday. Forgot how good the de-aging on Michelle Pfeiffer was.

I know, right!?
But then it always astounds me how ILM can get it so right for Marvel (that 90-second held closeup shot of a 1985-era Downey in Civil War blows me away every single time) and yet fumble it so completely on Star Wars ("Hope!", urgh…) or something like The Irishman, where I found Scorsese only *slightly* hypocritical (!) for blasting the Marvel movies for being "rides" but totally ignoring the fact that they pioneered the technology that allowed him to make his overlong movie…!

No Way Home looks incredible, sure it feels like a live action Into The Spider Verse but I'm not complaining. It looks like a fantastic way to link all of the different Sony Spider films so, in theory, it doesn't feel like the first 5 films were a '
waste of time' in terms of the MCU. Guess I really should get around to watching TASM2

Only if you want to know Electro's origin, but be warned, it's Joel Schumacher-esque territory.
(In, ahem, more ways than one. )
And you'll come away DEMANDING a do-over alternate-universe Rhino.

Well since I do want to know his origin (and can deal with a Schumacher-esque origin) I guess I need to make time to watch. And thankfully I already know all about the Rhino issue - and it doesn't bother me cause I knew nothing about that character before the film.

If the film can deliver on all the emotional beats hinted at, the movie will be, yes, amazing. The film looks like it could be wonderful, and we know there's lots more than the trailer shows. I hope they can come through.

Lizard gets invisible punched in the Brazil trailer. Definitely more to that scene.

Getting a lot of buzz online that there are five villains in this, just one shy of the Sinister Six, with many asking who the sixth might be.
Gee…are people *really* that dumb? I just wonder who it could be..

Are we referring to Venom's post-credit scene, or the increase of jokes about how ridiculous Kraven the Hunter looks in the comics?

Yes, I would say Venom. Pretty obvious, no?
Even if, in that universe, he isn’t *exactly* a villain, but once Spidey finds out about him there’s sure to be some disagreement over that, and I’d say a Sinister Six storyline becomes its own thing.

He's gonna be Spider-Old-Man by the time he’s done, and the cobwebs will be real ones!
