OK. Got it working now!
The "Disable BBCode" in post wasn't unchecked when I posted originally.
The link is fine now.
And whatever the article says for CDs, applies to DVDs as well. Burning DVDs isn't much different than CDs... The technologies are cousins after all.

Hmm, I can't read it either...Is it about how burned disks last only two years or so?

They certainly do.
Many CDs that I burned when the format started out do not play anymore or can not be accessed.
Good old film and tape, eh? Why were they so scorned?
