So cool today to see The Shat oldly going where no 90 year-old has gone before!

My favorite take on it was Neil deGrasse Tyson's quote:

It's also a good job Shatner was able to actually get a seat inside the capsule, or he would have had to…cling on…

This is all pretty cool. Tyson's quote is great.

This certainly harkens back to the early space shuttle (which was not actually space-worthy) being named Enterprise.

Nice that Bezos allowed us fans this thrill. :)

Great scene from TOS which plainly shows what a multi-dimensional and progressive show it really was. (Humanity was certainly “better” in Roddenberry’s vision, but not anywhere near “cloyingly perfect”, as its unfortunate label by many pop-culture historians suggests. :?)

Shatner was great in this scene. And even though he had no lines, Nimoy was fantastic.

Spoiler-y title and content if you haven’t seen season 1
'Star Trek: Picard' won't 'press forward' with the synthetic storyline, producer Akiva Goldsman says

Three possible ways:

1.). It was actually Picard’s clone that got “Borged.”
2.). It was all a dream.
3.). It was Data’s dream!

:P

No need to undo anything. They just ignore it and move on. The only thing different is that Picard is no longer terminally ill. Personally, I'll be happy to forget how Season 1 ended.

The end of the article basically says they’re doing what Randall suggests. Their out is no enhancements were added and the only change was removing the disease.

Short Q clip! :)

(Mild spoiler. Also some language, believe it or not. Well, they did use the “F” word a few times in season 1.)
