Re: Garbage pail kids return on HBO max!
See, I found the cards quite fun, since they were a complete 180 from what my sister liked about the Cabbage Patch Kids. The initial GPK cards, at least, were just like Mad Magazine versions of CPK, and could have been ripped from those pages originally. They seem to have gotten grosser and crasser as they went on, which was likely the result of the writers/artists' attempts to out do each other, though the "joke" wore thin after you’d seen a few. But those initial cards weren’t "bad", which is what fuelled my interest in the film, even if it can’t have been an especially keen interest since I have still never seen it!

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

On the GPK cards, my brother and I collected all the way up to series 5. Lol. The tiny bazooka Joe comic strip they’d put in with the cards was funny. The gum was kinda yuck, though.

Lol!! . I think remember owning some really old Superman or maybe Spider-Man comics and seeing this brand advertised.

We used to have Hubba Bubba as kids. And there was a weird urban legend about it having spider eggs in it, and that you'd end up hatching millions of baby spiders in your mouth if you chewed that gum.
