Re: Disney’s Jungle Cruise
Yes, I totally agree. . I hate how our culture is becoming more and more fragmented.
I mean I respect their opinion and all, but I also feel that that’s a really closed minded way to look at acting in general...the whole point is to embody someone that’s different from who you are. That’s the challenge, and the wonder.
(I mean did they forget that the two amazing stars of Brokeback Mountain were both straight? And what a wonderful job they both did, especially Heath Ledger??)

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Could this launch a 'Pirates'-Style franchise? I doubt it, though a bit early to tell.

Well they got three movies plus spinoffs out of The Mummy that this keeps getting compared to, and if Dwayne brings that Jumanji audience over with him, then yeah...can totally see this getting a sequel or few.

Well, it hasn’t been shunted there *exclusively*, and it’s still fetching the premier(e) pricing, so...

And I will still head out to the cinema to watch this release.
And with this announcement Disney continues to confuse me with why some movies get a dual release why others just get 'dumped' on +

It does look like it should be a lot of fun to watch. And having never gone on The Jungle Cruise ride I have zero expectations of it being faithful to the ride.

If you do go on the ride, however, remember:
If you step off the boat and find your shoes quickly filling up with water, that means you have stepped off the wrong side of the boat--Please re-enter the boat and try again.

"Watch out, man-eating piranha! Women and children, don’t worry — they’re only man-eating!"
Still a fun script of bad one liners, but he’s not the most charismatic guide, sadly. Sounds like he’s done the tour a couple of thousand too many times.
