I really need to stop asking my mom when the Oscars are. "Some Monday in April." Geesh.

It used to be on a Monday, but got moved back a day last year.

I wouldn't listen to your mom or James about the date. None of them sound so sure!

I may be unsure of the date but I know that they will be aired live starting at 4:13 in the morning.

Actually, it changed from Monday to Sunday in 1999.

And James...you may mock the timing, but for us in the old country it's not so funny - we start here around 12:30 in the evening and go all night!

wow this is awesome...live chat!! i'm gonna have to join in on the fun. i also came across another place that has a similar thing for the oscars, except you join "expert" commentators called tvj's in their live session. they have this famous movie critic and celeb fashion expert who will be hosting i think. it's called BuddyTV and seems pretety cool so dunno if any of you wanna check it out. theyre also running this contest where u can submit your oscar guesses and the winners get some cool prizes. i found the contest rules and details on http://idol.slimtainment.com
