For some reason, that yellow on the homepage (highlights the dates) does not really blend well with the rest of the site. Personally I think that an olive, brown, or dark teal would blend better. Just my opinion.
How's it look now?

With the Spongebob theme, the yellow goes great. Well your 5 for 6 for themes, keep up the good job.

Ever think of making Optional skins?
Like, all these skins that you guys have made. Ever think of like... making a lil' menu at the top, where we can have the skin applied to us, that we like?

I think optional skins would be easier to make for the Forum than the homepage (since that would require an Extreme Makover for the HTML). Most forums, however, have the option of adding skins. For example, on this board if you go to your profile, there is an option that says Board Style. Currently, the only style is subSilver (default). Hopefully A-N adds more themes.

As I did in the last forum, here is a rundown of all the logos we've done for the site, for your amusement and my backup purposes!
the regular A-N logo, since October 2003:

----------
Halloween 2003 & 2004

----------
Thanksgiving 2003 & 2004

----------
Christmas 2003

----------
Shrek 2, May 2004

----------
The Incredibles, November 2004

----------
The Polar Express, November 2004

----------
The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, November 2004

All the logos are good, but the best one by far is the Polar Express one.
BTW, why doesn't the logo show up on the main page?

That new Christmas logo has now passed the Polar Express logo as my favorite. It's a huge improvement over the former Christmas Logo.

And I'm glad it's a christmas logo and not a "Holiday" logo.
Hooray for not being politically correct!
