On the subject of anime, I'm sorry, I can't even look at that shot of an anime-ized Captain America without seeing Urusei Yatsura's Super Delicious Planet Golden Special Reserve Gorgeous Aftercare Kit #28.
(For those anime fans who weren't old-school and don't get the classic ref: https://urusei-yatsura.com/watch/season-7-episode-1 )
Marvel, DC?--Please understand, so we don't have to explain it slower:
Japan just DOESN'T GET Western men-in-tights superheroes. They may like them, they just don't know what the heck they are.
(Note that our three new heroes aren't actually Marvel heroes, per se, they're just...Power Rangers.)

Nice to finally get a look at these shows, though I may not make it through a full episode.

Also, further down the list:
Still, that raises hopes for "Disneyland's 10th Anniversary", the Babes In Toyland party/promo, the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction opening, and "Dad, Can I Borrow the Car?"
So, they ARE showing classic Disneyland episodes from the Disney Treasures tins (this one from both the Darby O'Gill disc and the "Your Host, Walt Disney" set), but, like "The Plausible Impossible", showing them as separate short-features.Friday, February 28

Disneyland across the seasons is on Disney plus also. Tricks of the trade and adventures in color are on vudu so I won't be shocked if they add them in the future.
My dog the thief and splash coming to Disney plus also.

It was released in Australia a few years back, region free. Has a commentary, too! It's out of print though and very hard to come by.

While it’s a something of a surprise that Disney would want to get into business with the company that outbid them for Sky, it’s also not a surprise to see this teaming, since Sky already have a dedicated Disney movie channel, and have done for many years now. Interesting!

Around the world in 80 days, Sandlot (coming back to disney plus), lamp life, big buisness and wicked tuna now on disney plus.
Also if you missed it, short destino is on Disney plus if you want a strange drug trip!
Percy Jackson and cheaper by the dozen remake coming to Disney plus.
Behind the scenes of legend of the three caballeros. Some neat info. Donalds va says this is the best version of Donald! Also yes this show is going for a Disney afternoon vibe and it's not a gumball copy in style! Also the new ducktales show creators didn't even know about this show when they were making ducktales!

Loved seeing the comics-accurate costume, even if it's only likely to be seen once.

It was SUPPOSED to tie in with "Dr. Strange 2: Multiverse of Madness"'s plan for rebooting Phase IV, as a sort of Avengers version of "Into the Spiderverse", where we see the "wacky" alternate Wandas and Visions--
But now, we're just getting female-audience "wacky" jokes about un-PC 50's/70's housewife sitcoms, which pretty well went out with Nick at Nite's "Donna Reed Show" jokes in the 80's.
And picking on Rob & Laura Petrie to do it?...Uh-uh. Not in our neighborhood.

Didn't they say only the first 3 episodes are the tv sitcom?
Anyways update on live action stitch.
It will be getting a $60m budget and the original voice for stitch will return.
Kind of surprised this one isn't getting a big screen release.

Think Dumbo officially killed off the non-90's (and by "90's" they mean four movies only) big-screen releases EXCEPT for either:gaastra wrote: ↑February 4th, 2020, 4:57 pmKind of surprised this one isn't getting a big screen release.

A) The high-priced name star or director, that needed box-office to pay the tab, or
B) In Mulan's case, the need for foreign distribution.
Now that Lady&Tramp freed them from the drudgery of losing box-office money, looks like this is the new reincarnation of what they were planning to do with the 00's vidquels:
As long as they think everyone's watching the Novelty, use them to jumpstart classic titles that are fading in video popularity...Which is the reason we got the live-action Bambi and the direct-video Bambi II.
Betting pool open for when we get the live-action Pocahontas announced for streaming...Early '21?
