Not noticeable in the stock photo, it's also translucent!

Re: Charlie Brown Specials
Hopefully another channel got them, if not it will really be the end of an era.PBS Kids wrote:Regretfully, PBS does not have the rights to distribute the Peanuts specials this year. We’ll all have to watch for the Great Pumpkin in a different pumpkin patch this Halloween.

Hopefully Apple will at least offer them free like they initially did.

MeTV is commemorating Charles Schulz's 100th birthday this month with debuts of A Boy Named Charlie Brown and Snoopy, Come Home. What a treat!

Today marks what would've been Charles Schulz's 100th birthday. What a beautiful legacy - joy, happiness, comfort, smiles and so much laughter. Happy birthday, Sparky! Nearly all comics today are paying tribute: Clickable.
So cool. The Baby Blues one.

Re: Charlie Brown Specials
Some of my favorite tribute strips for this day:
Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson
Heart of the City by Steenz
Rosebuds by Supr Dee
Dick Tracy by Mike Curtis & Shelley Pleger
Bizzaro by Dan Piraro & Wayno
.. but perhaps most amazing is Doonesbury by Garry Trudeau; the daily strip has been in 'reruns' for the past several years .. but today's strip (from 1997!) pays tribute to Schulz, all the same.
side note: it's really cool to see Reply All on a newspaper page (even if it's just the single-panel Reply All Lite spin-off). I thoroughly enjoy that strip .. though, other people around me often wonder why.

Re: Charlie Brown Specials
Almost all the comic tributes are collected here and in color! Some are pretty clever, one of my favorites is the Macanudo strip.
