Esurance - Erin's World

Post by PixarVixen » May 7th, 2006, 2:17 pm

Some of my favorite current commercials are the ones for Esurance. I don't even pay attention to the fact that they're for an insurance company. I just enjoy watching the sweet animation. I also love how they've done so many different ads for it, and they keep on making new ones.

I know it has to be Flash (just like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends). And even though most people say Flash isn't so great, I still respect the work of the people who have made stuff like this because I know how tricky Flash can be to use.

Anyway, if you want to watch any of the commercials, here's the link:

I've seen those! I like them too. Just today I saw it and it got me thinking how neat it is to see 2-d animation again.

While we're on the topic of flash, I think that, as far as looks go, this:

...Is by far the best flash animation I have seen lately.

Made in flash or not, Erin's one cartoon character that is easy on the eyes! For once some company came out with commercials that I don't mind watching!
There's a 68.71% chance that I'm right.

There's also this Honda commerical with a 2d animated character played by Rob Paulson. (I think.)

Wait... Rob Paulsen?

If that were true I would enjoy those commercials about 100x more. They already make me smile for being 2D.

Yep, Rob Paulsen is the voice of Mr. Opportunity in the Honda ads. In fact, the character is on the main page of his official website.

wow, its interesting. compared to the ones here in aus. some are ok. the funniest ones by far are the beer ads. man, gotta love beer ads.
No point anymore, if I can't love her
No spirit could win me
No hope left within me
Hope I could have loved her and that she'd set me free
But it's not to be
If I can't love her
Let the world be done with me.
