Re: Smurfs Cartoon Coming to Nick!
As a French-Belgian person, it always fills me with joy to see international audiences really appreciating universes and characters from "our" national comics! Everyone knows and watches American franchises and Japanese anime, which makes it pleasant to see Europe still has a word to say in the animation game.

Hey! As a Belgian originally myself (although we moved to England when I was very young), I’m also pleased whenever I see characters like Les Schtroumpfs, Tintin and Lucky Luke, that I grew up reading, taking on Internationally popular status. Of course, the Smurfs have really kind of been "adopted" by the Americans by now, ever since Hanna-Barbera took them from page to screen, but the Franco-Belgian tradition continues in Europe for sure, with still tons of other characters ripe for discovery and new Asterix titles, for example, always on the cards to continue the pre-HB Belvision translations from the comic albums to animation.

Clearly not. No dress, no hair and shirtless and all.

Odd thing is early ads had clumsy sounding like the lost village version. Wonder why they changed it. Clumsy sounds like a young girl.
