Oh, he's good. But I still think Peter should be played by a genuine dumb fat American, in the same interests of being authentic to the character. It’s just not right that an erudite, slim Canadian has created and taken a role that he's really not properly suited for.

Totally agree on how ridiculous and hypocritical “identity politics” have become.
Playing someone of a different race/ethnic group/religion etc builds EMPATHY.
And understanding.
