You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Sounds great! Not sure about Rihanna, though.

This played before Peabody and Sherman.

Re: DreamWorks' "Home"
.. which was unexpected -- since I thought I'd read somewhere (months ago) that Mr. Peabody & Sherman was gonna be accompanied by an all-new Rocky & Bullwinkle animated short .. so, I was kinda bummed that this was shown, instead.
That's not to imply that Almost Home is 'bad'; it just seems to be more of a pre-'main-title' sequence to the full-length feature (or perhaps an extended teaser trailer), than a stand-alone short subject, unto itself.
Still -- Steve Martin's voice performance is a hoot, and the animation is great fun to watch.

Re: DreamWorks' "Home"
Nice! DreamWorks has always been hit or miss even at the best of times due to spending less time on each film and going for volume instead, but this one looks like a winner to me. I like the end credits theme. Hopefully they'll flesh it out a bit and use it in the feature.

Warning: one really gross scatalogical joke.

Does it say anything that I love Steve Martin but don't think I can be bothered to click on that link?

You're probably better off. That joke was sooooo disgusting.

Wow. Potty humour. DreamWorks Animation at its finest.
This movie just doesn't look all that interesting. I do really like or love a lot of DWA films, but this one doesn't do anything for me.

Re: DreamWorks' "Home"
Indeed. I'll likely get the Blu, but that will mostly be to keep my DWA collection going and because of Steve, but that won't help the box-office. It'll be more of an "obligatory" purchase than because the film looks great.
I did actually look at the trailer...jeez...how more squashy and stretchy could the animation get!? And there's a BIG Llilo & Stitch vibe going on in there, even down to her red car flying around like Stitch's ship.
How wrong we could all be...but I don't think so...

I am now almost positive that this film is doomed...financial analysts saw the trailers and were apparently extremely unimpressed.
