"in the role of Cobra Bubbles"... so that above story was a load of bunk. I thought the original reporting was (which is why I never posted it) but since they doubled down with a name and everything...
Now I have to go back and see whether "Ms. Kekoa" was the little old lady with the big glasses, or the woman at the pet shelter.

And, yeah, okay, I’ll play: Disney LA’s what? ;)
No, he's on second, Disney LA's Who! (Naturally!)

Hunt what?
Megalomaniacs. Or people who don’t know how to use apostrophes. Usually you’ll find they’re one and the same.

Not everyone is thrilled with some of the casting choices. Oddly, the people who are probably usually all for changing up characters with different looking actors are upset that... the actors don't look exactly like the characters!

Let's just end these adaptations and put fans out of their misery!

They're now being made for the same IP-strategy reasons (obscure-title marketing, copyright extensions) as the 00s Vidquels, and it took John Lasseter to shut those up.

Who's going to step in to shut up Disney's obsession with Disney+ content, and a few lucky successes they had in 2019?

It has nothing to do with "copyright extensions". Lilo & Stitch especially, that's an original idea!

Tia and Chris, yay!!

In less happier news:
The Hollywood Reporter wrote:Kahiau Machado was cast as David Kawena last week, but has since been recast with Kaipot Dudoit. During Disney’s vetting process, previous posts in which the actor used racial slurs were uncovered on social media.
Oh well. Here's the new guy:

He does look a little more like David.

Another detail mentioned in the story:
The Hollywood Reporter wrote:Amy Hill will star as a new character named Tūtū.
Another returning actor! She originally voiced Mrs. Hasagawa in the original. That's awesome. Here's hoping for more, like Jason Scott Lee!

I'm assuming we're not getting the Winnie-the-Pooh aliens in the space segments, replaced by wacky humanoids.

It was pushed to theatre than back to plus than back to theatre so many times we don't know where it's going at this point. As big as stitch is overseas disney will be stupid to not put it in theatres. Thats chapek stupid there. He hands down would have thrown that money away and put it on plus. Not sure if igor is that stupid.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
