Forget the quasi-fake looking animation and fairly bad visual effects...I am loving the violence in this!

At the 14 second timestamp that sure sounds like lifted audio for Jerry! Hoping for more. Love the little devil and angel on clouds.

Japanese trailer:

More violence, but more importantly the classic Tom scream! :D

Clip:

Loved the fighting cloud as that's right out of the classic shorts. However, having all those reaction shots feels like a mistake. Animation still looks weightless, doesn't really blend with the environment.

All things considered, this does look a lot better than any of us were probably expecting, especially since the budget probably wasn't very big at all.

Clip!? That was nearly half the movie! ;)

On the fighting cloud, I was half expecting one of them to come out the other side with a green face and call out "Somebody...stop me!" ;)

Now showing 30%. Will it beat the 1992 film!? ;)

This movie is basically about a girl who tries to succeed in her career and her boss, her colleague, someone who try to sabotage and the couple who's getting married. Tom and Jerry are just coincidentally there.

Sounds kinda like the ‘92 film...although IIRC both Tom and Jerry had a relatively active role in saving the little girl who got kidnapped by the villain. (Funny how Oliver and Company, the Rescuers and All Dogs Go to Heaven all pretty much had that same plot. :P Lol.)
You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

That's how most of the dtv films are. Tom and jerry are sidekicks to a lead kid. Also down to 24 on rt!

If anyone can tell me how to make a feature length film based on a cartoon with two mute characters and have them be anything *but* supporting elements to an actual needed plot, then you’re on to something, but it’s never going to happen when you have to have structure and more than just a zillion blackout gags!

I agree, that's why a feature length film on Tom and Jerry was, is and will always be a bad idea. They just don't fit that format.
