That's what I was thinking too - The more artsy-farsty guys (like us
![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_new_razz.png)
) would totally go for it, but soccer moms and their kids would be all, "Whu?" That's not to say Pixar couldn't pull it off though - in fact if any animation studio could nowadays, Pixar would.

Fantasia was not completely dialog free, and I don't think movies that are can really support themselves for 90 minutes. I haven't seen Tripplettes, but I know Fantasia and Fantasia 2000 probably wouldn't have held my attention as much if it had just been music for 90 minutes.

You Two (JV & Macaluso) better fill that gap ASAP

Triplets of Belleville is truly wonderful film, touching, engaging and beautifuly designed and animated... and yes - it can really support itself for... well... maybe not full 90, but something about 80 minutes of its runtime is not so much shorter

The main characters in Spirit didn't talk, which I appreciated. Now, there was narration and the human characters did talk, but I think that's an indicator that if done well, the film wouldn't necessarily need dialogue.

I don't like Spirit at all! I'm not sure why I don't like but I just don't!

Yay! Spirit support!
You're entitled to your opinion JV. I realize some parts are slow, but there was great action sequences and some really sweet "quieter" moments like with the little Indian (Native American) kid and Spirit; Spirit and Rain sharing the apple, Spirit as a foal growing up in the beginning (probably my favorite sequence in the film, should have been much longer IMO)

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!
