Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!
One episode is missing sound effects and music also (only has talking) and the second half of the series has bad dvr over the first.

Boomerang streaming has the promos so why were they cut here?
Man called in sd stinks. It's a big screen film and vudu has a blu-ray copy so they have one. You are better off sticking to the dvd then for it.

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!
And this after the multitude of issues with the Wonder Woman series set.
Any other known problems with WB discs at the moment? It’s a real pain to import (and pricey!) and then still have to sort out replacements. Took a couple of years before I got a corrected 2001, and I haven’t bought WW yet as waiting for corrected sets to come out...eventually.
What the heck is going on over there anyway!? This doesn’t bode well for Bugs...

Should you buy The Flintstones on Blu-ray?
Yabba-dabba-don't.

Yeah, but gotta admit, that's the stuff of which last-minute studio disc-exchanges are made.gaastra wrote: ↑October 15th, 2020, 3:30 pmOne episode is missing sound effects and music also (only has talking)

If it was Disney, definitely; with Warner, it's more of a "Very likely probability".
Edit: Bulldog Bill's just tweeted, and he's starting the campaign already.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

"The Flintstones is one of my favorite cartoon shows of all time"...
"I didn’t even realise there were movies"...
For some reason I was expecting a digipack. Two regular cases in a box, as well as the issues the set has, just add to making this an easy pass. And that Flin Tsto nes titling looks even worse on an actual package, that’s even possible!

Not that I was considering this much, still a shame at the apparent botch treatment. Déjà vu in a way, only this time you're not getting a screener.

When Warner first released the complete series. Both of us were tempted, disappointed, but you got it since it was free. Although if you hadn't, you probably would've sprung for it since you didn't own any of the individual sets.

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!
Oh, right! Back when I did a mega review of the whole series! Yes, that TV set package was quite awesome. It still sits in my media library, although the lenticular panel has warped now, and the orange dye that coveted the set rubs off on your hands if you hold it too long! Pretty impractical in the end, but it looks good! I’ll be happy keeping that and my separate Man Called... DVD. One day, they might do a mega all-in Blu with the film, specials, additional series...etc. It’s a pipe dream, but I’ll get that if and when...So, likely, never...!

E-mail link already up for Episode 17 correction replacement on the Flin-Tsto-Nes set:
https://thedigitalbits.com/columns/my-t ... 02620-1300
Already mailed mine, and auto-response says they should start shipping after November.
(And no, they're not going to fix Man Called, so don't sit in the corner and pout. )

And until we ever DO get that 70's energy-crisis special (from the Alan Reed days):

Wow, I had not seen that before. And I thought I was a Flintstones expert!
Weird to see Fred and Wilma in contemporary environments! Odd choice.
