This film is coming out in about a week. Wow....finally!

I hope the reviewer just had a bad day hehe
The worst is that I have to wait 3 more weeks to evaluate it personally... (Cars premiers here on 23rd of June...)

It's got 89% on RottenTomatoes so far - not bad, not bad at all!
And here's a very positive review:

Yep! Not bad at all, but too few reviews to date to predict what the wider reception will be.
While waiting for Cars to widely open these are some nice documents to watch
(For those who are afraid of spoiling the movie - be aware of some new "cars" clips shown there)

I think Cars will do very well....though not as well as Nemo or Incredibles.
If you check out some of those reviews on RT (yeah, I know, there's only like five or six) even the positive ones aren't as gushing as the positive reviews for Nemo. They're medium-enthusiastic. Kinda like for Monsters, Inc.
Cars also has more competition now from Superman, Pirates 2, and X3. Back in 2003, all they had to go against, really, was Pirates. Sinbad was (unfortunately) dead in the water almost upon release, Terminator 3 wasn't much of a threat, X2 did well but wasn't as big a franchise as it is now. And fish toy plushies are a lot easier to sell than Cars plushies.
Cars will do well, don't get me wrong. But it won't be a "gigantic" blockbuster. Just my opinion.
Oh yeah, and I DO intend to buy some Cars toys.

You can’t just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!

Same here, and I think the huge number of animated mives out this year will have a slight impact on its' B.O. take.I think Cars will do very well....though not as well as Nemo or Incredibles.
I'm not really worried about that - Finding Nemo was, out of all of them so far, my least favorite Pixar movie. I still love it though. If you check out some of those reviews on RT (yeah, I know, there's only like five or six) even the positive ones aren't as gushing as the positive reviews for Nemo. Bah, I already have.Oh yeah, and I DO intend to buy some Cars toys.

I have a Lightning toy my friend got from a cereal box and gave to me. You pull it back and it goes.
Right now they have the soundtrack for ten bucks at a few stores near me, and I'm definitely considering it. Ten bucks is not a lot, considering it's a new CD. I just hope it follows the tradition of the other Pixar movies; the soundtracks never get tons of attention, but the music is still really nice. (ex. A Bug's Life, which I just rewatched...)
