Yeah, she's never been in a movie theater before, so it could scare her.Shy,
My daughter isn't afraid of scary stuff in movies, and she's 3 1/2.
I'm not taking her. I think it's too loud in some parts, and it's the volume that disturbs her more than images (that dino can roar, even though he's cute!).
It's not a very scary movie. It's nowhere near the scaryness of most of the classic disneys.
But I'd recommend taking the girl to non-modern disney movies in a theater or on video first, as a dark theater and big screen are an overwhelming experience.
Thanks Sull!!

Wow, wonder what he said?YAY DRO!!!! Yeah, Adam West wasn't exactly squeaky clean! But it was all in good fun

Also, has anyone else noticed that the guy with the hand puppet looks a lot like Ed Grimly?
If you don't know who Ed Grimly is, he was the subject of a VERY WEIRD but hysterically funny cartoon shown ("The Completely Mental Misadventures of Ed Grimly") on ABC Saturday Morning years ago, then on late-late-late night Cartoon Network in the 90s....now you can't find him anywhere.
(Martin Short did his voice!!
)
Haven't seen it around in quite a long time. But it was SUCH a good show.

Adam West didn't say anything overtly 'off-color' .. but the 'innuendo' was definitely there. He was raised onto the stage with the theatre's Wurlitzer organ (which rises/descends through the stage, via a trap door), and the first thing he said, before even standing up, was "I can see you're all admiring my .. organ."
Basking in the applause and catcalls of the audience, he paused at one point and began slowly turning around, so that we could "admire his crime-fighting physique."
He also notified the audience that a nurse and doctor were available in the lobby, "should anyone in the audience become .. 'over-stimulated'. It's .. that kind of movie."
At which point, MTR producer Dorothy McKim appeared on-stage, coaxed Adam West off to one side for a publicity photo, and escorted him to his seat as the lights dimmed .. often repeating, "I love you, Adam" between audience cheers.
I dunno; maybe all of that was 'staged'. But West's monologue certainly didn't have the flavor of a 'Disney-approved' script.

My mistake; Adam West had mentioned McKim just before that lady went up, so I'd assumed that's who she was.
Either way, it was pretty obvious Mr. West's time on stage was being 'cut short'.
The audience took it in stride, though; the cheering never stopped! It was a great audience to see Meet the Robinsons with.

Wow!!
It sounds hilarious!!
Wish I'd seen it!
The cartoon actually didn't interest me at all when it first came on, I mostly just used to see the end credits all the time because it came right before The Real Ghostbusters.
Then in the mid-90s they re-ran it on Cartoon Network, and I watched it again. You wouldn't believe how many in-jokes and sly references it had!!
It was very, very clever. I can see why it got cancled after one season, how could any kid get that stuff?

It sounds hilarious!!

Yes, I heard about this...I wasn't sure if it was this or Saturday Night Live. I don't remember the show though, only the cartoon.Ed Grimley was a character which Martin Short created (and played) on the sketch comedy television series SCTV, in the mid-1980's. The cartoon show was a spin-off/adaptation from the live-action skits.
